In the past years my main focus was on developing sport climbing in Israel and creating new standards for climbing in the country.
Climbing in Israel is pretty new so I was involved in bolting the most difficult routes in new and different crags all over the country, creating more awareness to sport climbing via media and encouraging new people to start climbing and also bringing new training methods.
I was the first Israeli climber to do an 8c/5.14B, and 8c+/5.14C grade in Israel and abroad I bolted and climbed first ascent in Israel of more than 100 routes.
Regularly climb 8c, onsighting 8a+ and flashed 8b routes.
Bolting the one of the hardest multi pitch route in Wadi rum, Jordan (“Glory” 8a+).
3 years in a row Israel 1st place champion. (2007-2009)
Trainer of the Israel national youth climbing team for the I.F.S.C European cup 2007- 2009.
As a pro climber and a sports physical therapist (M.Sc) My goal was always to develop the climbing scene, crags and new climbers and I have devoted my life for this goal.
I get to meet many climbers indoors and outdoors and it’s really exciting to get amazing feedbacks from them about my influence on the climbing scene in Israel.
Although my base is in Israel, I climb at least 3 times a year in crags all over the world, and to work on projects and hard routes that hard to find in Israel.
These days I am working and training for a new goal, to climb 9A grade
See you at the crags!
